Took my truck in due to there was a ticking sound from the engine and the check engine light was on. Also the a/c was blowing hot air. Jonathan Brinson was my service person. He worked with me on the price to fix everything that was wrong. Picked up the truck on 3/25 and drove it home. When i got to the house i popped the hood to look at what had been done and there was a loud ticking sound coming from one of the A/C components, I took a video with my phone and contacted Jonathan. He requested that i send him the video and he contacted me back after seeing the video. He requested that i bring the truck back in to have it looked at, Due to the stay home and stay safe due to the COVID-19 virus i told Jonathan that i would be waiting a couple of weeks before i would bring the truck in which he said was fine just to let him know when i was bring in the truck.. The issue i have is that i have a 2015 Silverado with only 60,000 miles on it and the issue with the engine had to do with an AMF Lifter was collapsed. Also there has been a number of reports online forums that 2014 - 2018 GM A/C issue are caused by a defective weld on one of the hosed that causes the refrigeration to leak and requires repairs that cost around 2000.00 or less. Look at TechLink Bulletin from June 2014.
The team worked hard to meet and exceed our expectations. Feliciano was a dedicated sales representative that took the time to listen to our requests and worked hard to get us vehicle that is everything we asked for. He worked with us for several hours to not only get us a fantastic truck but a great payment. We will be back for years to come. When my son and daughter are ready to purchase there vehicles they will be coming to see Feliciano and your Chevy family. Thanks for welcoming us into your family and you into ours.
I called to schedule an appointment for a recall. due to circumstances related to the CVOID-19 outbreak I did not take my vehicle in. I will have to reschedule. At this time this is not an accurate review or bad reflection on the service department.
Went in for oil change. They said they had some recall do on the truck as well. Pick truck that afternoon and the dash did not work . Got the service writer back out to look at truck he took truck back it to shop and said the easy tag was the reason for thing to mess up. Well it has been on for 9 month and I did have any of these problem before or when I drop my truck off for a oil change. So the he said that they turned off the safety devises so the would work. Well truck been back it shop 2 or 3 more times. one time was for two weeks still didn't fix the truck. The truck went back it shop again for a week and I picked it up and it still wasn't fix. Talked with GM assistance two or three times and they have not been much help with getting truck repaired. Talked with service manager at dealer and he could care less if the truck get fixed. When I put truck last time I had to asked for copy of ticket that showed what the did the week it was at the dealer. When I finally got a copy it did show any repairs like they told GM Assistance they did. They told me they did replace any parts. But they told GM they had just got the part in. When I asked him about the ticket he told me that he still had things to add to the ticket. So If I picking up my truck and he gives me they ticket it should be what they did to the truck, not add things to the ticket after I leave with my truck. The truck is still not repaired a 100 % after almost 3 months. I asked for someone from Auto Nation like a district manger, almost a week ago and have not heard anything from them. At this time the service at the Chevrolet dealership on gulf freeway Auto Nation is very bad. JES
