I am giving 5 stars because of the service I received from the service advisor Wes. He kept me informed about the status of my vehicle since I was waiting for it to get done. I had my vehicle 's oil changed, tires rotated and a 4 wheel alignment. When it was finished, I left the dealership and on the way home I noticed my vehicle was veering off to the right, worse than when I brought it in. I called Wes and told him about the alignment. I brought it back out and he made sure that it was aligned properly. So I was completely satisfied with how Wes stepped up and got the job handled to my satisfaction. AutoNation Chevrolet Gulf Freeway has done all the service on my vehicle since I bought it there in 2012. Good job AutoNation.

The issue was a simple positive terminal nut that was lose. I was told by qualified service techs at other shops like Firestone and NTB that checking the battery is a courtesy and if they see this type of issue they just tighten it up. The service reps told me this was a "repair" which I had him confirm through text that this was the so called "repair" then he said it wasn't. Had he told me, hey we tightened the bolt do you want us to proceed I would've said no and not had to pay out of pocket what I did. I will not be returning to autonation anymore for my service.

I was disappointed in the fact that they had my vehicle for a month to change the oil, rotate and balance tires, check history codes for a CEL and check out my inoperative front seat heaters. In their defense they had to work with a 3rd party warranty company that I purchased a warranty from when I purchased the vehicle. This warranty company had to send out someone to verify the dealerships findings. They approved the seat heater module but not the CEL history codes because they were not current and they could not duplicate them even though my CEL comes on intermittently. This was disappointing but not the dealerships fault, just the fact that 3rd part warranties are a pain to work withl

Unethical Service Experience I arrived at 8:50 AM for a 9:00 AM appointment and ended up waiting over eight hours in the service department with minimal communication about the status of my vehicle. While Spencer was outstanding—he handled multiple tasks efficiently and showed professionalism—the same cannot be said for Omar and the rest of the team. Upon my arrival, several employees overlooked me, and I stood waiting for approximately 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged or assisted me. I have been a loyal customer at this location for over a decade, and I have never experienced service this poor or disorganized. I have invested significant time and money with AutoNation, and I am extremely disappointed to be treated in such an discourteous and unprofessional manner. I hope this matter is taken seriously so that future customers do not encounter the same experience.

Bought truck at the dealership 11/1/2025. Within a few weeks had issues with loose steering and fluid leaks. Truck ended up in your service department for 16 days to have these issues fixed. Customer service from that department was horrible. Service advisor Spencer is terrible at his job and barely communicated with me without me prying information from him. I will never use your dealership again!!

The team was friendly and professional. The quality of the repair work meets expectations. Overall, I am very happy with the result of the service provided. To have earned 5 stars, the customer experience could be improved in the area of managing schedules and internal communications. For example, during a prior visit for evaluate and estimate. It was unknown when the replacement part would be available. After 2-3 weeks, the service team reached out to book the appointment. At the time of booking, it was unknown how long the work required, that was important to understand if the vehicle was to be dropped off or waiting was possible. Upon in take arrival, the service leader assigned to job was not aware of the scheduled repair work and if the parts were in stock. The service leader performed outstanding in quickly resolving the confusion by confirmed parts status and labor time needed to perform the work. The service leader's communication inside the service department was clear, concise, professional and friendly. As said before, I am happy with the outcome and the efforts made by the team to get the job done. Therefore, I am giving 4 stars. The area for improvement is with the scheduler being able to communicate the scope of work and schedule to me as the customer and within the service department.

I went in to get normal maintenance done - oil & filter change, tire rotation, inspection and wiper blades replacement. I had also included a check of my AC which didn't seem to be cooling at low RPM in stop and go traffic. I was sent a text message while I was driving to the dealership that the AC check would take 24-48 hours. I was in my only transportation and could not set up a plan for a rent car. No loaners were available at this dealership and none were offered. I had to cancel the AC check. Hey, this is Texas, you can't live without AC. Two days to check AC is ridiculous.

The end result was good. I had a 1 pm appointment. Upon arriving I found only 1 service tech checking customers in. I waited 15 minutes to be checked in. After servicing, my truck sat in the driveway for 15 minutes with no notification to me that it was ready. I had to text the service tech to see why. He told me He was finishing the invoice and for me to come pay. When I got to the service desk my technician was no where to be found. He had left the area. I stood waiting for 5 minutes before about her seevice tech asked if I needed help. He had to go find my original service he h to find out what was going on. The second service tech ended up finishing my service call. After 1 hour and 20 minutes I drove out of the service drive with a simple oil change and tire rotation completed.

Spencer was amazing and very helpful. Spencer is the ONLY person employed at the dealership who was helpful! Service had my truck that I purchased for over a month at no fault of Spencer! I had my newly purchased truck for less than 24 hours before lights came on and it made noises it shouldn't. Spencer tried to get the front sensor camera fixed but sales refused to cover the cost. They sold me a truck and intentionally withheld info regarding issues with it. Spencer did everything he could to make things right but unfortunately Star who sold us the truck did nothing but lie. Thank you Spencer for trying and for getting 1 of the issues taken care of under the warranty that the finance guy made me purchase under false pretenses! I appreciate everything Spencer did and tried to for me.

Brought my vehicle in for a recall on the airbag when I left there or got in my vehicle, the airbag service light was on, and the airbag message was on, which was never on before, and the guy gave me the runaround telling me that that had nothing to do with their bag y’all replaced then I look at my dashboard and it had cracks all over the place. There was a previous crack, but after the airbag work was done, there was numerous cracks in my dashboard, and I was pretty much given the runaround when I questioned that also.

They we're top notch, my sales guy Garret Chollett was hand downs the best experience I've encounter at a dealership. The sales team leader Dylan was pleasure to work with as well. Louis with finance department was wonderful as well. I've been looking for a new truck for 5 months and AutoNation was quickest to respond, negatable, and no pressure sales team was a bonus. Took my vehicle in for starting issues. Ended up getting my starter replaced. Also replaced spark plugs and wires, rear break pads were also replaced. Since I was there I had the transmission and rear deferential serviced. Best of all my vehicle was ready the next. I’ve been dealing with AutoNation Gulf Freeway since 2018 will never hesitate to take my vehicles there for service and repairs.

Had the car in shop got fixed cost seven hundred. Not three weeks later car still acting up. Broke back to shop. Took a while to figure out what was going on. Got one quote. Then turn around a tell me that there is water in the transmission. I asked for two quotes. One to see how much it would cost to clean up the transmission. Second to see how much to rebuild the transmission. Never once said to do any work. Get to the shop to pick up car and they till me that it is six hundred. Mmmm like what did y’all do. Never told u it was ok to start working on the car. Had to get manager involved. I don’t think I should have paid anything cuz never said fix the car. In total paid a thousand and car was not fixed. Paid seven hundred three weeks later had to bring it back in. When picked up yesterday had to pay four thirty nine. Y’all left the battery in the car. Could not even put it back in the car. Very poor service. Will never be back there again.

Mr.William Lopez was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the service received on the 2020 Trax. Kept me updated with the process and time of completion. The waiting time wasn’t long and the customer service waiting lounge was clean and had good hot coffee.Very comfortable. My only issue I had at the time was when I got home. I noticed that the engine bay had an oil smell. Opened the hood and found oil residue on the engine and water hose. Cleaned off the oil and checked the oil cap. Also noted that the water washer fluid was empty and to top it off with washer fluid. Also check the tire pressure and found all tires needed to be corrected to the manufacturer PSI. All four tires had different pressures. I will be coming in for the front break pad replacement and let’s hope it’s safe to break when done. My opinion would be that the service writers go behind the service tech and verify that the service is complete before they return it back to customer.

My vehicle arrived the first of May, when I pick up my car July 25 still not working. AutoNation have in the past done great work to my car. When two other mechanics before AutoNation was not able to solve the issue. I decided to bring my car to AutoNation for a technician to diagnose and repair. AutoNation mechanic wanted to change parts, so after $1800 in the last 3 months and $2400 for a AutoNation guess part. I had no choice but stop the Bleeding.

I live an hour from the dealership and I made an appointment to get my oil changed and fuel filter replaced on my 2017 Durmax HD. Because of the distance from the dealership, I had to wait while the service was performed. On the way to the dealership my low tire light illuminated and one of my wheel sensors was reading zero. I needed a sensor replacement. When I checked in at the dealership, I added this to my repair. Dean the service representative who took care of me added this to by work order, it was all completed in a very timely matter and I was completely satisfied!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I want to give a big thank you to Spencer at the Chevy dealership for his excellent customer service. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the entire service process. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was taken care of. It’s not always easy to find someone who genuinely cares about their customers, but Spencer definitely goes above and beyond.
