My usual service advisor was on vacation, so I worked with another gentleman who I never met. He was nice, but wasn't timely in getting back to me. I called and he stated the mechanic hasn't got to my vehicle after a day and a half after dropping it off. He called me close to 6 pm on Friday with the bad news of my vehicle. I came by the following Monday, and spoke with Marcus the service advisor I commonly do business with. The other advisor that I was dealing with was having computer issues, Marcus looked into the matter and wasn't for certain of the situation. He asked me to leave my vehicle there another day while he talked to the mechanic and ran some additional test. Marcus was great in looking into the matter rather than trying to sell me a $10k solution. Another concern, was they day I dropped off my vehicle, I received a call from a salesman at the same dealer, and he said I noticed your vehicle is in the shop for repairs and would I be interested in trading it in for a new vehicle. He said we are having year end deals and employee pricing. I do not appreciate taking my vehicle in for repairs and my information being given to a salesman!!
