The Chevy Silverado HD is built for hard work and heavy loads. It comes in two main versions: the 2500 HD and the 3500 HD. These trucks offer powerful engine choices, including a 6.6L V8 gas engine and a 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel V8. The diesel engine delivers high torque for serious towing and hauling, while the gas engine provides dependable strength for everyday jobs. Most models come with a 10-speed automatic transmission that offers smooth shifting and better fuel management. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but four-wheel drive is available for added control in rough conditions.
